What is aircraft scheduling software?
It's a shared calendar for aircraft, instructors and pilots that also knows about maintenance, pilot qualifications and billing. TailSlot is built for flight schools and flying clubs in the United States.
Can students book an instructor and an airplane at the same time?
Yes. TailSlot shows only times when the student, the CFI and the aircraft are all available, and books all three in one step.
What happens when a pilot files a squawk?
Maintenance gets a ticket right away. If the squawk is marked critical, the aircraft is grounded, and anyone with that plane booked in the next few hours (you set how many) gets an email.
Does TailSlot check TFRs?
Yes. TailSlot checks active and upcoming FAA TFRs near the booking's airports and warns the pilot and instructor. Always get an official briefing before you fly.
Does TailSlot work with QuickBooks?
QuickBooks Online invoicing for completed flights is being built now, and it will be included in every plan at no extra cost.
